The best thing in Italy wasn't the pizza, pasta, gelato or bellinis-- it was Granite pronounced "grah- neat- ahhhh" Once you have had this frozen espresso delight, no Starbucks frappacino will ever satisfy your palate.
Difficult place to eat gluten free when you eat out. But the grocery store shelves were stocked with amazing crackers and treats - all gluten free- that we don't have here. So apparently it isn't just our GMO grains.
